Hokianga Health Enterprise Trust - Maternity

Hauora Hokianga provides an integrated maternity service including Lead maternity carer, Hospital Birthing Facilities, General Practice Obstetrics, primary health care, and childhood health, including support for breastfeeding, parenting support, well-child tamariki ora, and immunisations. A team of two midwives, four GP Obstetricians, and support staff provide Lead maternity carer services which provide support for mother, father, family and babies throughout pregnancy (ante-natal), birth, and through the postnatal period. Hauora Hokianga's Lead maternity carer services are available for no charge to Hokianga and Kaikohe women. The service provides maternity care for approximately 120 women each year.
